The short version: your courses stay on your device. We never receive them, and you don’t need an account.

The app

Your courses are stored only on your device. We never receive any of it. When you share a course or save a backup, it goes only where you send it. If your device backs itself up to iCloud or Google, your courses are part of that backup. The app has no analytics, no ads and no tracking.

Purchases

Purchases go through the App Store or Google Play. We never see your payment details.

The website

Like any web server, ours logs your IP address, the time, the page you requested and your browser, so that the site works and stays secure (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). These logs are deleted automatically. The site sets no cookies and uses no analytics.

If you email us, we use your message and email address only to reply (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR), and delete them once the matter is settled.

Who else sees data

Our hosting and email providers process this data on our behalf. Apple’s and Google’s own privacy policies apply to downloads and purchases. Nobody else gets your data, and we don’t sell it.

Your rights

You can ask what data we hold about you and have it corrected or deleted. You can also have its processing restricted, object to it, or ask for a copy. Usually the answer is that we hold nothing: your courses never leave your device. Write to contact@cavaletti.app.

If you think we’re mishandling your data, you can complain to the Austrian Data Protection Authority (Datenschutzbehörde, Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Vienna, dsb.gv.at) or to the authority where you live.

If anything changes in how we handle data, we update this page and the date above.
